JAHRA HOSPITAL BREASTFEEDING WEEK – 14TH TO 18TH DEC’09 |

 ATC’s Pharmaceutical Division was the only healthcare company to sponsor the Breastfeeding Week held at Jahra Hospital from 14th to 18th December 2008, with both MEDELA and PHARMALIFE items. 
The event was the first of its kind in which MEDELA brand was recommended to Jahra Hospital as well as all other centers in the region. The event included seminars and during the 4 days we were able, with the help of Mrs. Zahra Abdul Emam (Head of Nursing for the Jahra Area & Responsible for the Breastfeeding Committee) and Nathalie Aoun (ATC-Medela) to have ATC banners and MEDELA posters and products as well as PHARMALIFE products.
ATC banners and MEDELA posters were spread out over the hospital during the 4 days of the event. 
This successful event created awareness to the benefits of breastfeeding to all pregnant and lactating mothers present. MEDELA brochures were and will continue to be distributed to all Maternity wards in Jahra.
Thanks to Mrs. Zahra and Dr. AbdulRahman from Jahra Hospital for their efforts to promote MEDELA breastfeeding range into Jahra Hospital and the whole area through this event.
