In its quest to provide the latest cutting edge medical technologies as well as promoting knowledge among health care providers with the recent clinical and medical findings and guidelines, ATC has cordially sponsored the Heart Failure Symposium organized by Dr.Mustafa Redha, The Director of Al Dabbous Cardiac Centre.
The guest speaker Dr.Feras Bader is the Director of Advanced Heart Failure Program in the University of Utah School of Medicine, USA. The symposium was held in two sessions, the first session was dedicated for the Guidelines of managing chronic heart failure whereas the second session focused on the role of devices in managing end stage heart failure.
The two sessions were attended by large number of cardiologists and interventional cardiologists from all over the hospitals in Kuwait and they have expressed their satisfaction with the content of the sessions as well as their interest in the new developments in the area of treating chronic heart failure.
As all cardiac centers in Kuwait are heading to provide and establish programs for treating heart failure, this symposium is considered a founding step to enlighten cardiologists on treating chronic heart failure patients with cardiac assist devices each according to its intended indication.
